Don't trust an AI's "done": have a second AI check it against the real files
The author asked Claude Code to clean up copies of three DWG drawings, and it reported "cleanup complete". He pasted the report into Grok Bot and asked: where are the copies, where are the hash checks? The copies were never made. Now one AI does the work, another checks it, and he signs off.
Start step 1 ↓The problem
AI is good at writing reports that sound finished. "It compiles" doesn't mean it works, and "I changed it" doesn't mean it changed the right thing.

How to do it
- 1
Paste these rules before you start
Paste them to the AI doing the work at the start of every task. The point: change only copies, plan first, and count only results that were actually produced.
Prompt - 2
Hand the "done" report to a second AI to check
The author pasted Claude Code's report into Grok Bot and asked it to check against the real files, not redo the work.
Prompt - 3
You do only two things: approve the plan, sign off at the end
The flow: you state the need → the checking AI drafts a plan → you approve → the working AI does it → the checking AI checks the real results → you sign off. An AI can do the work, but it can't sign off on its own work.
